Kromberg and Schubert (known as Kroschu), who started manufacturing insulated wire in 1902, are a global presence in cable manufacture.

Now situated in Rhede, northwest Germany, Kroschu is a leading manufacturer of multicore, multipair, fibre optic cable and developer of customised cables.

Kroschu special cables utilise their high degree of expertise in the fields of development and production in market sectors such as the automotive industry, communications and data technology, broadcast, medical and industrial automation.

Accredited to ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001 and ISO TS 16949, Kroschu's high level of competence has been approved to meet the requirements of their customers in accordance with international standards.

To meet such high standards Kroschu have heavily invested in their testing facilities and can consistently monitor and manufacture using material tests, thermal tests, electrical/HF tests and dynamic tests to produce a stable, quality cable product.

Kroschu can offer designs that utilise copper conductors as small as 0.02mm² or as large as 120mm² or with temperature ranges from -120°C up to +260°C, not to mention optical fibre made of glass (singlemode and multimode) and plastic (POF).
