Outdoor antennas will play a big part in this year's Super Bowl, as the latest 4G LTE versions of the products have been fitted around the setting of the big game.
A number of the antennas have been installed at the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, as well as a network upgrade by Verizon to 30 other downtown venues, Gotta Be Mobile reports.
The company has spent around $69 million (£45 million) on the development in an effort to create a fast and reliable cell system.
It is hoped the new system will be able to handle around 2.5 times the amount of traffic usually seen in the stadium, as more than 85,000 people will be brought into a facility that usually caters for around 70,000.
Earlier in the month, Nola.com reported that AT&T has installed a number of indoor antennas throughout the Mercedes-Benz Superdome as part of a $10 million project to improve cellphone coverage.
Quadrant Connections offer a complete range of base-station antennas for mobile communication networks.
