The electronic connector market is set for significant worldwide growth in the coming years, new research has predicted.
Compiled by Global Industry Analysts - which was founded in 1987 and now serves more than 8,500 companies - the report suggested the industry will be worth $89.6 billion (£57.2 billion) by 2018, with a number of factors contributing to such acceleration.
According to the forecast, technological developments, a marked increase in the production of electronic devices and improved world gross domestic product will all play a part.
The study noted: "The market for electronic connectors essentially remains technology driven with trends in design, material section, fabrication and assembly, dictated by technology changes in the electronics industry."
In addition, the advancement of the sector is to be assisted by the ability of harsh environment connectors to boost market opportunities, while there will carry on being plenty of demand for products in the medical equipment, motor and aircraft industries.
Quadrant offers an extensive range of high quality connectors, supplying standard coaxial connectors for all standard cable groups.
