People struggling to use simfix connectors may find a new initiative introduced by Binder is able to help them better navigate the products.
The organisation has revealed it is to introduce pin numbering on its seven inch and eight inch cable connectors to make the items easier to use correctly.
It is hoped the marked pin numbers will mean the process of joining the cable to the connector is made simpler, as the digits will be marked on the rear of the contact carrier.
Such a move should therefore mean the corresponding wire is properly connected to the correct pin.
Products to benefit from the new approach include the male cable connector, the male angled connector, the female cable connector and the female angled connector.
The initiative comes shortly after Binder recently announced the release of the M12 positional panel mount connectors with diecast zinc housing for the 715/716 series.
Quadrant offers an extensive range of high quality connectors, supplying standard coaxial connectors for all standard cable groups.
