MCX
The MCX series of miniature connectors utilises a snap coupling and is suitable for applications up to 6GHz. The impedance is controlled at 50ohm and designs are available for flexible, conformable and semi-rigid cables. Types are also available for mounting to printed circuit boards using through-hole soldering, press-fit and Surface Mount Technology (SMT). Solder and crimp techniques are used to terminate to cables.
Because of their small size, these connectors find many applications in small instruments and communications equipment.
