SIMFix® connectors

Quadrant supplies the Telegärtner SIMFix® range of coaxial connectors. The SIMFix® range of connectors has been designed especially for corrugated cables for on site installation.

The RF connectors in the SIMFix® series are rugged connectors with threaded coupling for use in high performance transmitter applications, are waterproof and are suitable for external use. They are also designed to provide excellent technical performance, especially with regard to return loss and intermodulation. This range is split in to two lines.

SIMFix® Pro Series – IP 68 rated water protection

The SIMFix® Pro range includes RF connectors for terminating 1/2” flex, 1/2”, 7/8”, 1 ½”, and 1 5/8” sized corrugated cables. Assembly for all sizes is simple and reliable, thus guaranteeing electrical performance with regard to return loss and intermodulation. Ease of termination of the cables has been greatly enhanced by the use of specially developed tooling, which allows for exact stripping of the corrugated cables in the shortest amount of time.

SIMFix® ST Series – IP 67 rated water protection

The SIMFix® ST (Short Type) range is a shorter version of the SIMFix® Pro connectors. It has almost the same design as the SIMFix® Pro except for the sealing, which is specified IP 67. Application areas are where especially short and cost-efficient connectors are needed, indoor applications or where additional sealing by taping is done.
